FAQ's

How does the laser treatment work on tattoos?

The laser produces light energy that Is absorbed by the tattoo ink and shattered into tiny particals which are evacuated from the body throught the normal immune response. As the happens the tattoo will fade.

Does it hurt?

The laser removal treatment will cause some discomfort and it is usual to experience a small amount of pain in the area afterwards. The laser pulses have been likened to having your skin pinged with an elastic band, but like tattooing some areas may be slightly more sensitive than others.

Will the laser treatment leave a scar?

Not normally, it is very unusual to develop any scarring, but its possible, especially with poor aftercare. Althought if you were scarred by the tattoo during the laser treatment the old scar will become visible.

What happens after the treatment?

Straight after the treatment the ares will feel hot and skin will form small white 'blisters' these are water vapour spots created by heat under the skin. This is a good sign that the treatment is working. These white spots start to fade quickly after the treatment.

Can you remove all colours?

no, laser tattoo removal works best of black tattoo ink, but i wide range of other colours can usually be removed successfully or lightened to a degree. Greens are usually the hardest colour to remove and we can't guarantee that it will be effect by the laser.

Can i have a part of my tattoo removed?

Yes, our lasers are very accurate. For example we can take out letters of names that have been misspelt.

Will my tattoo be completely removed?

Possibly, modern lasers can give fantastic results but there are no guarantees. Sometimes the totaly removal is not possible, but this is down to many factors, such as age of the tattoo, type of ink used, depth of colour etc.

How much does it cost?

Prices start from £20 to £50 per session depending on the size of the tattoo. We are happy to give you a quote if you pop into the studio.
